After the success of Makelaarstraining.nl (the Dutch real estate course), we received numerous requests from non-Dutch speakers to develop a realtor training program in English. We made it happen: Dutch Realtor Training became a reality in 2024. This course is entirely in English, featuring professionally recorded video lessons, English-language study materials, weekly sessions with industry experts in a virtual classroom, and a certificate upon completion that even allows you to start your own VBO office. A true game changer in the real estate industry!
Note: The Dutch Realtor Training is also ideal for Dutch nationals who want to become realtors. While this course is more expensive than the Makelaarstraining.nl course, the added value is well worth it.

This training consists of 41 online lessons, each averaging about 15 minutes. You can take the lessons whenever and wherever it suits you, and you have up to 36 months to complete them! The lessons were recorded in a professional film studio, with top-notch lighting, sound, and camera work. We have also invested heavily in making the material even easier to learn by making everything in the video lessons as visual as possible!
You will receive over 90 practical documents that have been developed and used by our realtors in the field. These include sales proposals, checklists, knowledge articles, email templates, marketing tools, leasing proposals, bidding documents, and much more.
This training includes weekly Coaching Calls (lessons) with one of our expert instructors, who are all highly experienced realtors. These Coaching Calls help you better understand the course material, apply it in practice, and get answers to any questions you may have.
After completing all the lessons, you will receive an official certificate. This is unique, as the standard Dutch course from Makelaarstraining.nl does not offer this.
With this certificate, you can officially register in the Dutch Quality Register for Realtors: Dutch Realtor Cert.
With your earned certificate, you are eligible to start your own ‘VBO’ real estate office as a franchise.
It is then important that you can demonstrate at least 6 months of work experience as a realtor in the Netherlands. This is truly unique because, normally, this is only possible after completing the full official program, which takes a minimum of 4 years. Becoming an officially certified realtor in the Netherlands is now much easier and faster through Dutch Realtor Training!
Prices and registration
Dutch Realtor Training offers two versions. The full course costs €995. There is also a budget option available for €495, which does not include live lessons (Coaching Calls). However, you can purchase these Coaching Calls separately if needed. Additionally, Dutch Realtor Training offers an optional annual refresher course. Prices for this refresher course vary but are generally around €295. This refresher course is necessary to maintain your registration in the national quality register (Dutch Realtor Cert).
Note: This course is suitable for EVERYONE, including both Dutch and non-Dutch participants. The level of English is easy to follow, and subtitles are provided to make it even more accessible.
